Whether you view your guitar as a tool of your
trade, an investment,
or a soul mate, there comes a time when it will
need work. Frets wear,
the woods change with time, and unfortunately,
accidents do happen.
Regardless of the issue at hand, you can trust me
to bring out the very best in your instrument.
The most important consideration in any repair or restoration is
the
structural integrity of the instrument. After this is satisfied, I
strive to
maximize its tone and playability keeping in mind the needs of
the individual player. Aesthetics are also important and, while
sometimes costly,
restoring the appearance of a guitar really does
finish the job.
All work is performed on an hourly basis
as I believe
this leads to the best possible outcome for each guitar.
The current shop rate is $50.00 per hour.
