The Sales Page
I sell a number of items, (luthier approved) related to the maintenance
of
your instrument and the maximizing of its tone and playability. Below is
a list
of the more popular items I stock. As well, I've started to stock
more general music store items and a few student guitars in anticipation
of the opening of the store once the building is complete. If the item you are looking for is
not there,
I can likely find it for you, just ask. If you are looking for an
instrument,
please checkout our sales page in the hand-built guitar section.
-
Caliber III™
Hygrometers:
A digital humidity and temperature gauge tested accurate to
less than 1%. This could be the single most important investment you
ever make in the health of your instrument.
-
D'Addario™
Strings and Planet Waves™
Accessories:
We've found these to be the most consistent
strings in the industry and recommend them for this reason.
Planet Waves makes great cables and a number of other items
we really like including their Acoustic Guitar Humidifier,
A
great little humidifier that hangs in the soundhole from the
D and G strings never touching the guitar directly.
-
D-TAR™
Acoustic Amplification:
Wow! That's usually the first thing someone says after
hearing my set-up. Starting with either a Timberline™
or Wavelength™
undersaddle pickup and ending with a Mama Bear™
acoustic processor, you too can have the absolute best in
amplified acoustic tone.
-
Grover™
Tuners:
While I do use and recommend other
brands I find these to be excellent
tuners in a variety of styles at a fair price; many are
direct replacements for vintage tuners. Personal
favorite, 18-1 "butterbean" Sta-tites™.
-
Calton Cases:
The toughest cases know to man. I launched mine down
the stairs into U.S. customs at the airport one day; no harm
done. I'm just glad it didn't hit anyone.
- Used and Student Guitars:
I usually have a few of each around. You can find them
on the
sales page in the hand-built guitar section. The link below is to
Beaver Creek Guitars. The solid top series is my fav,
as they sound pretty darn good right out of the box and the
solid top allow me to make them sound even better.
